Report: Man United reach agreement ahead of securing Tottenham target

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to a number of young right-backs this summer, with the likes of Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier enduring difficult seasons last year.

Trippier has been linked with a move away this summer, with Italian giants Juventus and Napoli said to be involved in a £25m tug of war for the right-back (Mirror).

Meanwhile, the Evening Standard reported earlier this year that both Trippier and Aurier would be among the 12 Tottenham players available for sale this summer.

Spurs also have young academy graduate Kyle Walker-Peters within their ranks, who has often looked promising in a Tottenham shirt, despite a lack of game time.

Poch can also look to the likes of Eric Dier and Juan Foyth to cover at right-back, as both have done so in the past.

One Tottenham target who looks to be getting away this summer is Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, despite being linked to the North London club (Sun).

Man United are now reportedly close to signing the 21-year-old star, after reaching a £50m agreement with the Eagles (BBC).
