Report: Man Utd now have two alleged Tottenham targets on their wishlist

ESPN have revealed that Manchester United hold an interest in Brentford goalkeeper David Raya and Porto number one Diogo Costa, who are both also rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar.

Tottenham are expected to be in the market for a goalkeeper in the summer, with the North London club thought to be on the lookout for Hugo Lloris’ successor.

In fact, The Evening Standard suggested last week that the Frenchman, who is currently out with a thigh injury, might have already played his final game for Tottenham.

90 min suggested a couple of days ago that Raya and Costa were among the four names on Tottenham’s shortlist to replace the 36-year-old, along with Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili and Inter Milan’s Andre Onana.

If ESPN’s latest update is to be believed, Spurs might be locked in a battle with Man Utd this summer as the Brentford and the Porto stars are also on the Red Devils’ wishlist.

The report states that while the Old Trafford hierarchy have identified those two as potential replacements for David De Gea, Erik Ten Hag has ‘not ruled out the possibility’ that the experienced Spaniard could start next season as his number one.

Spurs Web Opinion

I have suspected for a long time that David Raya might emerge as a top target for all three of Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd this summer.

The Red Devils might have the upper hand in the race for the 27-year-old since they look likely to qualify for the Champions League.
