Report: Man Utd set to launch £35million bid for Spurs target

According to reports in the media, Tottenham are said to be keen to add several new faces to the squad in the summer after being completely inactive in the last two transfer windows.

One of the positions where Pochettino’s is reportedly looking for upgrades is in the full back areas with several right backs and left backs being linked with the club in the past few weeks.

Right back in particular has been a problem area for Spurs with Kieran Trippier having a poor season, and Serge Aurier failing to impress sufficiently to nail down the spot.

The 21-year-old has had a sensational season with the Eagles and is attracting interest from several sides including Manchester United.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Man Utd are now set to launch a bid of £35 million for the young Englishman in the summer.

It will be interesting to see if Spurs will go head to head with the Red Devils for the full back or will instead switch their attention to other targets.
