Report: Manager linked with Spurs has ‘no interest’ in job or ‘living in London’

Tottenham Hotspur’s managerial search following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho has been well documented with a host of names linked with the North London vacancy.

Ryan Mason’s hopes of being installed on a permanent basis suffered a blow last weekend after his side slumped to a 3-1 defeat against Leeds United.

Their manager Marcelo Bielsa has been linked with the job with Football Insider recently reporting that Spurs had identified both the Argentine and former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez as potential candidates.

The Telegraph have claimed that the 65-year-old, who is out of contract at Elland Road at the end of the season is on the verge of putting pen to paper on a contract extension.

Bielsa is said to be happy and settled in Yorkshire and is focused on carrying on the work he began in 2018.

Telegraph journalist Luke Edwards went one further when he took to Twitter to suggest that Bielsa has no interest in the Tottenham job or the prospect of living in the capital.
