Report: Mauricio Pochettino could look to take former Spurs-linked winger to PSG

According to a report by The Sun, Mauricio Pochettino could look to take rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Wilfried Zaha to Paris Saint-Germain once he is confirmed as Thomas Tuchel’s successor.

Pochettino, who is on the verge of joining PSG has reportedly had Zaha in his sights during his time in charge of Spurs with the North Londoners having said to have had offer for the wide man rejected by Crystal Palace as far back as three years ago (The Athletic).

There were even suggestions during the summer that Tottenham could go back in for Zaha but a move away from Selhurst Park did not materialise for the 28-year-old.

The winger’s form for Roy Hodgson’s side this season has once again been turning heads and The Sun claim that an offer from PSG could arrive in January.

It is said that Pochettino will be handed a big war chest at the Parc des Princes and Zaha is one of the players he could target.

In addition, it is claimed that AC Milan could also make a £50m offer for the Palace star, who is said to be keen on testing himself at the highest level.

Our squad is full of wide players and so I do not see us going in for Zaha in January. While the Palace star will certainly improve our side, our priority has to strengthen in central defence and midfield.
