Report: Mourinho ‘confident’ he can sign this man for Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, may not have yet had the chance to dip into the transfer market, he has still been able to bring in new figures in another way.

The likes of Jesus Perez and Toni Jiminez left Spurs along with Mauricio Pochettino when the Argentine was sacked, granting Mourinho the opportunity to bring in his own backroom staff.

The Special One decided to raid the French club Lille for coaching talent, taking both Joao Sacramento and Nuno Santos, who have now joined him in North London.

However, he may not be done there as the new Spurs gaffer reportedly still has his eye on another Lille figure in Luis Campos (Guardian).

Currently the Sporting Director at Lille, Tottenham and Chelsea are both said to be after Campos, who reportedly recently identified the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Fabinho, and Bernardo Silva for Lille.

Campos is expected to make a decision on his future at the end of the season, with Mourinho confident he can tempt him over to Spurs.
