Report: Mourinho considering move for Man United player with £15m price tag set

Reports are now indicating that Manchester United have set a £15m price tag on the head of midfield man, Nemanja Matic.

Matic has played under Jose Mourinho, the new Spurs boss, at two Premier League clubs already. He won two Premier League titles with the Special One at Chelsea, before making the move to Manchester with Mourinho back in 2017.

However, the 31-year-old has now made just three league appearances this season, hinting that he is out of favour at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Matic is also in the final year of his Man United contract, with reports indicating that Juventus may be interested in him on a free in the summer (Sun).

However, United want to get some money in January if possible and Mourinho is apparently interested in linking up with Matic for a third time in England (Metro).

Spurs Web Opinion:

Not a player I think Spurs need, especially not for £15m. If Jose wants him on a free in the summer then fine, but not worth shelling out cash for.
