According to a report in Turkiye Gazetesi, while Fenerbahce are pushing ahead with a move to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, they might be forced to abandon their pursuit of Son Heung-min.

Jose Mourinho wants Heung-min Son and Hojbjerg
Since Jose Mourinho took charge of Fenerbahce, it has been widely reported that the Turkish side could make a move for Hojbjerg, who is expected to leave Tottenham this summer.
The latest such update came a few days ago from Ajansspor, who claimed that Fenrarbahce board member Acun Ilicali has made a trip to England to discuss a deal for the midfielder.
The report explained that Mourinho was keen to strengthen in the middle of the part and has personally requested for the Spurs star to be signed.

Fenerbahce may move for Raheem Sterling
Fenerbahce’s interest in Hojbjerg has now been backed up by Turkiye Gazetesi, who say that Spurs captain Son Heung-min is also on the club’s wishlist.
The report claims that the former Southampton midfielder is at the top of Mourinho’s wish list and that he is open to leaving the North London club.
It is explained that alongside Ilicali, Fenerbahce president Ali Koc has also made the trip to London to negotiate a move for Hojbjerg as well as Son.
However, the publication adds that while the South Korean is Mourinho’s ‘favourite’, he is ‘not an easy prey’, with the Istanbul club likely to target Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling instead.

While a Son move is obviously out of the question, I am not too sure Hojbjerg would be too keen on joining Fenerbahce either.
The Dane is theoretically in the peak years of his career and he will want to continue playing at the highest level.
