Report: Mourinho handed festive boost involving Sonny’s availability

Tottenham Hotspur, and every other Premier League club, are in for a very busy festive period this year, as is always the case in England.

These winter months can end up defining your season, as the games come thick and fast for the next couple of months.

With most weeks containing at least two matches, it is more important than ever to have your best players fit and firing.

Jose Mourinho will want to avoid injuries to the likes of Harry Kane, Heung Min Son, and Dele Alli in the near future if possible.

And the Special One has already been handed a boost in terms of Sonny’s availability over the winter, as South Korea have not called him up for the EAFF East Asian Cup tournament.

Son may have missed the Man United game if called up, and would have definitely missed Bayern Munich away and Wolves in the Premier League (Football London).

Spurs waved goodbye to Son as he jetted off for South Korean duties multiple times last season, but it seems he is staying put in North London for now.
