Report: Mourinho has made up his mind on man who will never play for Spurs again

Football Insider claims that Cameron Carter-Vickers is not expected to play for Tottenham Hotspur again, irrespective of how well he does during his loan spell at Bournemouth.

Carter-Vickers completed a season-long loan move to the Cherries on transfer deadline day but is yet to feature for Jason Tindall’s side as he continues to build up his fitness.

The defender only had a year left to run on his contract at Spurs but he signed an additional year’s extension before being loaned out to the South Coast, which means that his current contract with the North Londoners runs till 2022.

The USA international has previously had loan spells at Swansea City, Ipswich Town, Sheffield United and Luton Town, with some being more successful than others.

Football Insider now report that the 22-year-old is not likely to don the Spurs shirt again as Jose Mourinho has not been convinced by him.

The report suggests that Carter-Vickers’ lengthy association with Tottenham is likely to come to end next summer.
