Jose Mourinho is officially the new Tottenham Hotspur manager, announced less than a day after Levy and the board sacked fan favourite Mauricio Pochettino.

Mourinho has been out of work since December 2018 when he was sacked by Manchester United, while he has also enjoyed two spells at fellow Premier League club, Chelsea.

The Special One has been used to having a pretty large budget at his disposal at the likes of Man United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid.

It appears as if Mourinho is now lowering his aims and standards at Tottenham either, as he reportedly wants to bring in Gareth Bale as his first signing in North London (WalesOnline).

Bale left Spurs way back in 2013, but has always struggled to settle in over in Spain, with large sections of the Madrid fans not taking to the Welshman.

Could Bale’s latest act, celebrating for Wales with that ‘Wales. Golf. Madrid’ flag, be the nail in the coffin of his Real career? And can Mourinho pull off what would be a sensational first deal?

  1. Let the crap begin! I read in one article that money will be available in January. An hour later another article comes out saying there is no money for January. Later again an article says there will be money. Which is it? Now we are starting with the whole Bale crap again. Can’t anyone report on facts over there?
