According to a report in The Sunday Mirror (20/12, p71), Tottenham Hotspur could face competition from multiple clubs in the Premier League and from around Europe for rumoured target, Demarai Gray.
Gray, whose contract with Leicester runs out at the end of the season, was linked with a move to Tottenham during the summer transfer window but ended up staying put at the King Power Stadium.
The 24-year-old has not made a single Premier League appearance so far this season and Duncan Castles revealed in the Transfer Window Podcast last month those at Leicester expect the winger to join Tottenham.
Brendan Rodgers even admitted earlier this month that he expects the winger to move on in the near future.
However, according to The Sunday Mirror, Spurs will have a massive battle on their hands if they wish to sign Gray next month, with Newcastle and West Brom also keen on snapping him up.
The report reveals that Gray is not particularly keen on a move to the Hawthorns given that the Baggies are in the middle of a relegation battle. It is also claimed that Gray has admirers in both Italy and Germany.

Gray has been on our radar for a long time. However, it is unclear if our name is simply being thrown in the mix here by the winger’s representatives. The one thing we are not short of at this moment is options out wide.
