Report: Multiple Saudi clubs are now looking at Tottenham 26-year-old

The Telegraph have revealed that Saudi Arabian clubs are expected to reignite their interest in Richarlison in the summer after having explored a move for him during the last two transfer windows.

Richarlison has showcased his quality over the last few months, leading the line impressively for Ange Posteocglou’s men and finding the back of the net with regularity.

However, his future is said to be up in the air, with The Telegraph revealing that the Tottenham man will be the subject of multiple bids from the Middle East when the transfer window reopens in June.

Richarlison has admirers in Saudi Arabia

The report explains that Saudi clubs previously failed with attempts to land Richarlison as a marquee signing, with the 26-year-old having been on their radar for some time.

It is explained that Al-Ittihad made a late check on the Brazil international last summer when their bid for Mohamed Salah failed but their interest never progressed into an official offer.

The outlet says that Al-Ittihad are now expected to be joined in the race by other Saudi clubs in the summer, with the competition allowing increased places for foreign players from next season.

Spurs Web Opinion

One would imagine that these clubs would not be showing interest if they did not have some information that Tottenham would be open to cashing in on Richarlison for the right price and the player himself would be open to a move to the Middle East.

Having said that, I would be quite surprised if Spurs agreed to sell the 26-year-old unless they receive an offer in the region of £70m-£80m, which would be too good to turn down.
