Multiple sources from Italy are now reporting that Antonio Conte is flying to London to hold final talks with Tottenham Hotspur over becoming the club’s next head coach.
It has been a whirlwind morning at Tottenham, with the club confirming that they have parted ways with Nuno Espirito Santo and his coaching staff after just four months in charge.
According to various reports, Conte now looks primed to replace the Portuguese coach in North London.
Sky in Italy (via Sky Sports) are reporting that the Italian ‘will be in London’ today to hold talks with Spurs.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has now said that Tottenham and Conte’s entourage are now working on the ‘final details’ to appoint him as the club’s next head coach.
He added that the former Chelsea boss ‘could already be in London today’ to finalise the move if the details are sorted.
Meanwhile, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has said that Conte ‘is ready to accept’ Tottenham’s proposal, with the talks between the parties now in the ‘final stages’.

Romano claimed that the Italian coach ‘seems convinced to say yes’ and that a final agreement could be struck over the ‘next few hours’. He also added that Conte is expected in London soon.
