Report: Mutiny on the cards as some ‘high-profile’ Spurs stars ‘unhappy’ with Nuno

Football Insider have claimed that some senior players in the Tottenham dressing room are unhappy with Nuno Espirito Santo’s management.

The first few months of Nuno’s reign at Spurs have been a whirlwind ride, with Tottenham winning their first three Premier League games of the season before falling to three successive losses to Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal.

After the 3-1 loss in the North London derby, reports emerged that some players were not happy with Nuno’s training methods.

The Sun even claimed at the time that the Portuguese coach was fighting to save his job but Tottenham’s 2-1 win over an in-form Aston Villa side ahead of the international break relieved some pressure from the Spurs boss.

However, if Football Insider’s latest update is to be believed, all is not well inside the Tottenham changing room.

The report claims that a source from the club has revealed some ‘high-profile’ players are ‘unimpressed’ and ‘unhappy’ with Nuno’s training methods and his style of communication.

The 47-year-old allegedly has ‘few allies’ in the changing room as things stand. It is even asserted that there is a real prospect of a dressing room mutiny as players turn against Nuno.

Given that Football Insider is the source, Spurs fans should take this information with a pinch of salt. However, the fact that multiple reports are now suggesting player dissatisfaction so early into Nuno’s reign does not bode well for the Portuguese coach.
