Report names 11 players who could potentially leave Spurs before window closes

Football.London’s Rob Guest has suggested that as many as eleven players could be on their way out of Tottenham, either on loan or permanently, before the transfer window slams shut in a month’s time.

As reported by other outlets over the past couple of weeks, Guest claims that Spurs could sign a new centre-back if Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon leave the club, and adds that the club are also on the lookout for an attacking midfielder.

In addition to Joe Rodon and Tanganga, he expects the four players who have been frozen out of Antonio Conte’s pre-season plans – Sergio Reguilon, Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso – to depart the club.

Guest claims that Emerson Royal could be on his way out after Spurs strengthened at right wing-back with the addition of Djed Spence from Middlesbrough while he also backs Bryan Gil to be loaned out again.

The journalist suggests that Spurs could also loan out Pape Matar Sarr as the 19-year-old is simply not going to get enough minutes at the club next season.

Guest adds that Alfie Devine is also expected to be loaned out to an EFL club just as Dane Scarlett was earlier this week, with the midfielder said to be keen on making a temporary switch in order to play regular football.

Finally, he states that Spurs also have a decision to make on whether to keep Harvey White as a fifth midfield option or to loan him out this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

Tottenham have certainly given themselves a lot to do in terms of player sales in the final month of the transfer window. A lot of these moves would have to be loans as not a lot of clubs outside the Premier League have the financial means to pay market value for the aforementioned players.
