Report names five players who could leave Tottenham this month

The Daily Mail have claimed that Hugo Lloris, Steven Bergwijn, Dele Alli, Matt Doherty and Joe Rodon could all leave Tottenham Hotspur by the end of the month.

Lloris is into the final six months of his contract at Tottenham and is now able to talk to foreign clubs regarding a summer transfer.

However, some sources have claimed that Spurs are confident that they will strike an agreement with the club captain on a one-year extension.

Conte has handed Dele and Bergwijn some opportunities over recent weeks but the former is said to be on the radars of Newcastle and West Ham while the latter has been linked with a return to the Eredivisie.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano said last week that Doherty has a good chance of leaving Spurs in January, just 18 months on from joining the club from Wolves.

The Mail have now claimed that all four of the aforementioned players could be sold by Tottenham before the window shuts while Rodon could also be loaned out by the Lilywhites.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think there is any chance of Lloris leaving in January. I fully expect him to come to an agreement over a new deal and stay Spurs beyond the end of this season. I am also not convinced that Conte would allow Bergwijn to leave, given the lack of options he has in the forward areas.

I can see Spurs cashing in on Dele if they receive a decent offer from the likes of Newcastle and the same would apply to Doherty. Allowing Rodon to leave on loan might depend on whether the club are able to sign another central defender this month.
