Report names five potential Harry Kane replacements in case striker leaves Spurs

Tottenham vice-captain and leading striker, Harry Kane, has been linked with a move away from his boyhood club of late.

Therefore, TalkSPORT have taken it upon themselves to name five possible replacements for the England captain in North London, should he choose to walk out.

Danny Ings – The Southampton man has 15 Premier League goals and 18 in all competitions this season. He is now 27-years-old and didn’t exactly enjoy a successful spell at Liverpool between 2015 and 2018 (Wikipedia).

Moussa Dembele – The 23-year-old Lyon striker has netted 22 times in all competitions this season, making it back-to-back campaigns with 20 goals or more. He also scored 51 goals in 94 games for Celtic across two-and-a-bit seasons (Wikipedia).

Timo Werner – The 24-year-old has scored 27 goals in 36 games this season for RB Leipzig, including one against Tottenham. He has now netted 88 times in 150 games for the German side (Wikipedia).

Mauro Icardi – The 27-year-old is at his prime and has 155 career goals. This season, he has netted 20 goals in 31 games for PSG, following his 124 in 219 games for Inter Milan (Wikipedia).

Thomas Muller – Now 30-years-old, Muller is the oldest on the list. However, he does bring experience and 211 career goals to his name. This season, he has only managed 10 in 36 games for Bayern Munich (Wikipedia).
