Report names list of six players Tottenham could look to sign this summer

The Independent have revealed the shortlist of transfer targets that Tottenham have settled upon ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Telegraph reported last week that Antonio Conte wants up to six new signings this summer to make sure the squad is strong enough to compete in the Premier League and in Europe.

This has now been backed up by The Independent, who have named the players said to be on Conte’s and Fabio Paratici’s wishlist.

They claim that Spurs are keen to ‘get ahead of the game’ with their transfer business in order to ensure they steal a march on their rivals.

The north Londoners are thought to be keen on raiding Torino for centre-back Gleison Bremer and right-back Wilfried Singo.

It is suggested that Hamburg’s Filip Kostic is a player Spurs have identified for the left wing-back role while the club are also keen on ensuring Christian Eriksen completes an fairytale return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Finally, the report states that Spurs could look to land Lautaro Martinez and Gareth Bale but the two players are said to be ‘fanciful’ targets for the time being.

We know based on the way Paratici operates that the club are likely to have identified at least three or four targets for each position. Who we move for might also be affected by whether or not we are able to get decent transfer fees for some of our deadwood.
