Report names price Bayern Munich are willing to pay Spurs for Harry Kane

Todofichajes have claimed that Bayern Munich would be willing to spend around £100m to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the summer.

With Kane down to the final 18 months of his contract at Spurs, some sources have suggested over recent days that the North London club would be prepared to sell the striker for £100m in the summer if he does not sign a new contract before then (The Telegraph).

Bayern are thought to be one of the leading contenders for the England captain’s signature, with SportBILD (15/02/23 via Sport Witness) even claiming earlier this week that the Bundesliga club have decided that it will be ‘Kane or nothing’ in the summer transfer window.

The report explained that the German club anticipate a game of ‘poker’ with Spurs regarding Kane but it was suggested that they would be hesitant to get into a bidding war for the striker.

Todofichajes have now also asserted that the 29-year-old is Bayern’s number one target, with the publication adding that Julian Nagelsmann considers the Spurs star as a ‘fundamental signing’ in order to achieve his targets next season.

It is asserted that the reigning Bundesliga champions would be willing to submit a bid of €110m (£98.1m) to bring Kane to the Allianz Arena.

Spurs Web Opinion

If Kane does not sign a new contract with Tottenham over the coming months, I am sure Levy would prefer to sell the striker to Bayern Munich rather than to a Premier League club.

However, I am not sure that Kane would be prepared to leave England, which is why I think Man Utd would be his most likely destination if he does leave Spurs in the summer.
