Report names the bid Tottenham may accept for Harry Kane this summer

Football Insider have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur may cash in on Harry Kane should they receive an offer of £100m for the striker.

Bayern Munich’s second offer, which was worth €80m (£68.3m) plus add-ons, was not enough to even get Spurs to the negotiating table, with 90 min claiming at the start of this week that the North London club remain adamant that the striker is not for sale.

The Daily Mail subsequently revealed on Tuesday that it would take an offer of £120m to convince the Lilywhites to part ways with their talismanic striker this summer.

The publication asserted that Bayern’s latest offer was already close to the upper limit of how high they are willing to go, with the Bavarians not wanting to pay much more for a player who will be available on a free transfer in 12 months.

£100m may be enough to land Harry Kane

Football Insider have now suggested that an offer of £100m would be enough to convince Daniel Levy to say goodbye to Kane.

However, the publication adds that any deal for the striker is likely off the table until such an offer arrives at Spurs’ doorstep.

The report states that as thing stands, it is ‘unlikely’ that Bayern would be willing to meet Tottenham’s asking price, given the England captain’s age and the lack of resale value.

There are no signs at the moment that Bayern would be willing to reach anywhere close to the £100m.

If the Bundesliga giants are planning on making such an offer, they would have to do so swiftly as I cannot see Spurs entertaining any negotiations past a fixed deadline, which is likely not too far away.
