Report names three clubs Tottenham star might be ‘willing’ to join this summer

Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola has written on his website (as translated by Sport Witness) that Sevilla, Lazio or Porto could all be potential destinations for Lucas Moura in the summer.

Moura’s five-and-a-half-year spell at Tottenham is expected to come to an end when his current contract runs out in June after the North London club chose not to activate the option to extend the deal by 12 months (Telegraph).

Although there have been some suggestions that the 30-year-old could return to his boyhood club Sao Paulo, Nicola revealed on his YouTube channel last week that the Brazilian club were not optimistic about their chances after their recent conversations with the player’s entourage.

The journalist has now explained on his official website that Moura knows that he is not likely to join a ‘top team’ next summer, given that he is not going to get much game time at Spurs over the coming months.

So, he states that the former Paris Saint-Germain man would be ‘willing to sign with’ clubs such as Sevilla, Porto and Lazio.

It is unclear whether Nicolo is suggesting that those clubs hold an interest in Moura or if those are the sort of clubs that the winger will be aiming to join.

Spurs Web Opinion

I actually would not be surprised if Moura joins a Champions League club next summer as at 30 years of age, he still has a couple of years of football left in him at the top level.

A player of his experience being available on a free transfer will be very attractive option for many La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga clubs, most of whom are cash-strapped.
