According to reports, if Tottenham manage to progress through to the next round, UEFA are open to the prospect of granting them permission to play their home leg at their new 62,062 seater capacity stadium.

Standard Sport claims that the European governing body has been in conversation with Spurs over their stadium situation throughout the season and will allow the club to decide where they want to play their home ties going forward.

Spurs are continuing to play their home games at Wembley due to repeated delays with the new stadium.

The club confirmed recently that the work on the safety systems is nearing completion. However, Tottenham will have to host two test events before the ground is deemed ready to host matches.

The Champions League quarter-final ties are scheduled for April 9/10 and 16/17, and it remains to be seen if the new stadium will be ready before that time.
