Report: Numbers emerge as Spurs see one of sharpest revenue increases in Europe

According to the new European Club Finance and Investment Landscape Report (as relayed by FourFourTwo), Tottenham Hotspur have seen a substantial revenue increase yet again this year.

Spurs announced last year that their total revenue had grown by 23 per cent compared to the previous year, with the North London club’s total revenue for the financial year 2022-23 revealed to be £444m.

It has now emerged that the Lilywhites have seen a further 21 per cent increase despite not being in any European competitions this campaign, with the revenue in absolute terms going up by a whopping £92m.

Tottenham see a huge increase in revenue

The report points out that the top 20 revenue generations in Europe (nine of whom are from the Premier League) have seen their revenue increase by an average of 15.7 per cent compared to Spurs’ 21 per cent.

The highest increase in Europe has been recorded by Barcelona (£150m) Paris Saint-Germain (£117m), AC Milan (£107m) and Napoli (£102.5m), who all reported substantially higher increases than Tottenham.

Spurs Web Opinion

Three of the four clubs who posted higher increases than Tottenham won their domestic leagues last year while Milan reached the semi-final of the Champions League.

For Spurs to post such a significant increase despite a relatively poor showing shows how healthy a state the club’s finances are at the moment.
