Report: Nuno tells England international he is not in his Spurs plans

The arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo and Fabio Paratici has seen the Tottenham Hotspur transfer rumour mill go into overdrive in recent weeks.

Mauricio Pochettino warned Tottenham just a matter of weeks before he was dismissed that they must undergo a painful rebuild if they were to remain competitive, which did not happen even after the arrival of Jose Mourinho.

With Atlanta’s Pierluigi Gollini on the verge of joining Spurs on an initial loan deal, it looks as if Tottenham’s goalkeeping ranks are going to be very well stocked, at least for the time being.

Football.London have revealed that the new Spurs head coach has already made it clear to Joe Hart that he is not in his plans for this season and will instead have to battle it out with Alfie Whiteman to become the club’s third-choice keeper or instead, look to move on.

The England international moved to North London on a free transfer after leaving Burnley last summer, with his contract set to expire at the end of this season.

It is good to see that players who aren’t in Nuno’s plans are clearly being told that they have no future at the club, the rebuild of the squad is 18 months overdue. Rather than having players picking up sizeable salaries and not being in the matchday squad is hopefully a thing of the past.
