According to The Telegraph, Nuno Espirito Santo could face an immediate sacking as head coach of Tottenham, as talks are being held surrounding his future today.
This is quite the development as The Telegraph reported just 24 hours ago that Spurs would continue to be patient with Nuno Espirito Santo and planned to give him more time to turn his fortunes around at the club.
The pressure on the Portuguese coach’s place in the dugout increased on Saturday evening after seeing his side picked apart in a dismal 3-0 defeat at home to Manchester United.
Proceedings turned toxic towards Nuno off the pitch, after he was met with a chorus of boos and chants of ‘you don’t know what you’re doing’ in reaction to him substituting Lucas Moura for Steven Bergwijn minutes into the second half.
Parts of the home support later sang “we want Nuno out” after Marcus Rashford crashed home United’s third of the game, compiling a wretched evening in North London where Spurs yet again failed to register a single shot on goal.
Let’s take a look at how some Tottenham fans reacted:

Needs to happen. He’s quite obviously out of his depth and let’s not waste time making this decision. Thanks for your efforts but goodbye. #NunoOut

Spurs Web Opinion
Nuno has not exactly helped himself with some of the coaching and decisions he has made before and during games, but he has been placed in this position due to the club’s hierarchy. He clearly was not the favoured choice of Daniel Levy, and right now it just seems like his inevitable exit is being prolonged.
