Tottenham Hotspur secured the services of Oliver Skipp on a long-term contract earlier this month
The 19-year-old academy graduate, who has played 21 times for the Spurs first team, has signed a deal until 2024.
Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho revealed that the midfielder is likely to go out on loan next season in order to continue his footballing education whilst labelling Skipp as a future captain of the North London side (Evening Standard).
Skipp is said to have been encouraged after watching the likes of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount have impressive loan spells and go back to Chelsea and play regular first-team football.
The Evening Standard claim that Fulham have emerged as contenders to land Skipp, but it could depend on whether they are able to secure promotion back to the top flight.
Fulham boss Scott Parker is fully aware of Skipp’s ability having previously been the Under-18 coach at Tottenham.
