Report: One door closes for Dybala

Manchester United are reported to have ended their interest in signing Paulo Dybala.

Sky Sports News claim that the Old Trafford outfit have decided to stop their pursuit of the Juventus forward after being concerned about his desire to make the move to the former Premier League champions.

Dybala had been the subject of a potential deal which would have seen United forward Romelu Lukaku head to Juventus.

It is also reported that United were not happy with the wage demands of the 25-year-old along with what his agent was looking for.

The Argentine has also been linked with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer (La Stampa).

Opinion

If Dybala’s wage demands are proving to be a problem for United, you would have to also assume that this would end any hope of Spurs also signing the player.

United are known to offer considerably higher wages to their players with Alexis Sanchez earning around £400,000 a week (Metro) while Tottenham’s highest-paid player Harry Kane only takes home half that amount with his £200,000-a-week salary (The Sun).
