Report outlines potential Spurs plan for Anthony Gordon if deal with Everton happens

Tottenham could loan Anthony Gordon back to Everton if they manage to seal a deal for the young winger, according to 90min.

Spurs are thought to be interested in England youth international Gordon alongside Everton teammate Richarlison and are readying a package deal for the pair (Sky Sports).

The Sun even claimed Spurs have submitted an offer worth £100 million in total with an £80 million fee being supplemented by up to £20 million in performance-related add-ons.

But should Tottenham secure the services of both Richarlison and Gordon, the North London club allegedly have a plan in place for what they could do with the latter.

90min suggest there is a possibility the 21-year-old could be loaned back to boyhood side Everton as a way of continuing his development after a breakthrough senior campaign.

Gordon produced a number of strong performances for the Toffees in spite of their relegation-threatened Premier League season.

He made 35 appearances (Transfermarkt) during their turbulent campaign as they staved off relegation with one game to spare.

If Tottenham do manage to seal a deal for Gordon, then a loan straight back to Everton could very well be on the cards.

Staying with his boyhood club would allow him to keep growing as a player, but ultimately this discussion is only relevant if Spurs get the move completed in the first place.
