Report outlines the deal from Manchester City which could tempt Spurs into Kane exit

Tottenham Hotspur hold an interest in Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, according to the Daily Star Sunday.

The report claims that Tottenham’s interest in the Brazilian could increase the possibility of an exit for Harry Kane if City were prepared to offer the £70 million-rated Jesus together with a cash amount of a similar value.

It is said that Pep Guardiola’s side could instead decide to offer Dutch defender Nathan Ake as a makeweight, with the 26-year-old having only moved to the Etihad from Bournemouth for £40million last summer (BBC).

Tottenham’s ongoing managerial situation is adding complications to Kane’s future with a potential return for Mauricio Pochettino wanting the forward to remain in North London.

Sky Sports recently reported that Kane had reiterated his desire to leave the club this summer want wanted his future resolved before the European Championships, however it looks unlikely that the England captain will get his wish.

City said goodbye to Sergio Aguero following last night’s Champions League final loss to Chelsea and have been tipped to find a replacement for the Argentine.
