Report: Paratici eyeing move for Serie A star but Everton may have upper hand

Inter Live have revealed Inter Milan do not intend to sell any of their stars this summer following Romelu Lukaku’s departure.

Tottenham were thought to have agreed a fee with Inter for Lautaro Martinez over the weekend.

However, it has been explained by Alasdair Gold that Lukaku’s impending move to Chelsea has complicated matters for Spurs, with Inter no longer desperate to sell their players in order to raise funds.

Martinez is not the only Nerrazuri star to be linked with a move to Tottenham, with Stefan De Vrij and Marcelo Brozovic also alleged to be on the Lilywhites’ radar.

Inter Live have now claimed Fabio Paratici is eyeing a summer deal for Brozovic but it is suggested the Croat may instead be heading to Everton.

The report explains Inter do not wish to sell any of their big-name players but the Serie A club are said to be exploring the option of signing Moise Kean from Everton.

It is asserted the Italians could look to complete a swap deal for Kean, with Brozovic potentially heading to Goodison Park as a part of the deal.

Spurs Web Opinion

I am not convinced that Brozovic would be a major upgrade over either Hojbjerg or Skipp. In fact, I would prefer us to hang on to Winks rather than moving for the Croat as at least the 24-year-old is homegrown and offers something different to Hojbjerg and Skipp.

The bigger takeaway from the above story is Inter’s resolve to keep hold of their big-name players which might end Spurs’ hopes of landing Martinez. A lot will likely depend on whether the Argentine puts pen to paper on a new contract.
