Report: Paratici gave more prominent role to Daniel Levy’s brother-in-law at Spurs

The Telegraph have revealed that Fabio Paratici promoted Daniel Levy’s brother-in-law Allan Dixon.

Spurs fans may have noticed Dixon at Hotspur Way in training videos, as well as on the sidelines during match days.

Dixon was previously working as the player liaison officer at Spurs before being made the team manager by Mauricio Pochettino during his time at the club.

The Telegraph have revealed that Paratici has made another tweak to his role to make Dixon more prominent during match days.

The report reveals that the Spurs’ managing director of football has also been pushing for the addition of more staff across various departments since arriving at the club over a year ago.

Paratici is thought to have pushed for the appointment of Gretar Steinsson as the new performance director and Adny Scoulding as his assistant.

The 50-year-old is also said to have facilitated the addition of Gianni Vio to Antonio Conte’s coaching staff as the club’s first-ever set-piece specialist.

Spurs Web Opinion

One can argue that Paratici’s appointment at Spurs has proven to be an even bigger turning point for the club than Conte’s arrival. The Spurs managing director is overhauling all aspects of the club and has made drastically transformed our recruitment. I also doubt if Conte would have accepted the job if Paratici was not already at Spurs.
