Alasdair Gold from Football London has reported that Fabio Paratici and Steve Hitchen are planning an overhaul of Tottenham’s scouting system.

It is said that the new Managing Director of Football wants to put the processes in place to ensure that Spurs can scout and secure the best young players in world football.

The overhaul will see vast changes in the scouting network and set-up in pursuit of becoming one of the very best in the game.

Paratici, who did plenty of good for Juventus’ scouting system during his 11 years at the Serie A club, is said to want to make a similar impact in North London.

The investment in this new scouting set-up will allegedly rival the top clubs in the Premier League and Europe as a whole, including multiple new recruitment roles.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This all sounds very exciting. Tottenham’s youth scouting has been excellent in recent years, but there have been plenty of errors when it comes to scouting more prime first-team stars. Increased investment and Paratici in charge can only be a good thing.
