Report: Paratici wants to bring new scout to Tottenham with him

Fabio Paratici has been confirmed as Tottenham’s new managing director of football, with the former Juventus man set to play a big part in the summer transfer window.

However, if a report from today’s edition of Tuttosport (16/06/21 – Page 22) is to be believed, Paratici may not be arriving in North London alone, as he could look to bring a Juventus scout with him.

The report claims that Paratici wants to bring Lorenzo Giani, who has worked at Juventus for over ten years, with him to North London.

If this happens, Tuttosport claim that Tottenham and Juventus could clash in the summer transfer window when it comes to various talents around the world.

Paratici himself will apparently continue to follow some of the players he was monitoring in Turin, adding to this idea that there could be some overlap between Juventus and Spurs targets this summer.

The Italian worked with the Italian giants for eleven years before leaving this summer and eventually linking up with Daniel Levy in North London.
