Report: Paratici linked with £40m bid to sign two Inter Milan players

Inter Live have claimed that Fabio Paratici and Tottenham could be set to make a sensational swoop for two Inter Milan players this summer amid the club’s financial troubles.

Now that Paratici has officially been appointed as Tottenham’s managing director of football, it is said that he is already working on potential new signings.

Paratici has reportedly identified Inter Milan duo Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozović as summer transfer targets for the North London club.

However, Inter Live claim that Paratici and Spurs would only be willing to pay a combined €47m for the duo, or £40m.

It is said that £19m would be offered to Inter Milan for de Vrij while the remaining £21m would go towards the Croatian midfielder who has just 12 months left on his contract in Italy.

The report does not mention whether Inter Milan are willing to listen to offers for either of these two players this summer.
