Report: Paratici wants to sign player with 36 goals for PSG next summer

CalcioMercato have reported that Tottenham and Fabio Paratici are considering a push to sign PSG striker, Mauro Icardi next summer.

Icardi is said to be weighing up a possible exit from the Parc des Princes at the end of the current season as he is only playing a bit-part role under Mauricio Pochettino.

Of course, the striker now has to contend with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Angel Di Maria and more to get into the PSG starting lineup.

Tottenham and Juventus are both said to be interested in Icardi and may rival each other in a bid for the Argentina forward next summer.

Icardi has 36 goals in 72 games for the French giants, as well as 124 in 219 games for Inter Milan. This season, despite a lack of game time, he still has three goals in the league for PSG.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Icardi is still only 28 so he would be a great signing for any major club around the world. Would he be a Harry Kane replacement? I’m not sure he is up to leading the line on his own in the Premier League but they could be a deadly partnership.
