Report: Paulo Dybala referenced in potential Spurs link due to Paratici presence

Tottenham Hotspur’s expected appointment of Fabio Paratici as sporting director has resulted in a new direction of transfer speculation.

Italian broadcaster SportMediaSet have suggested that Paratici would raid his old club for Paulo Dybala.

Tottenham were heavily linked with a move for the Juventus forward in August 2019, only for the move to fall through in the latter stages of the transfer window after the Old Lady decided to keep him in Turin (BBC).

The Argentine is out of contract with the Italian giants in June 2022 and had been linked with a move away while Paratici was still operating as the club’s chief football officer (Goal).

New Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is said to be keen to get Dybala to commit his future after he completed a return to the Serie A outfit.

Dybala would be a brilliant signing for Tottenham, however, this could just be an Italian news outlet using creative licence to link Juventus players with a move to North London purely because of the Paratici angle.
