Report: Personal terms yet to be agreed for departing Tottenham player

Kyle Walker-Peters is expected to complete a permanent transfer to Southampton for an initial £12million fee.

Sky Sports claim that the Tottenham Hotspur right-back has yet to agree personal terms with the Saints.

The defender, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Saints featured 10 times for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side during his loan stay and caught the eye following the resumption of the Premier League campaign (transfermarkt).

Walker-Peters started last season as Mauricio Pochettino’s first choice right back having played the first three matches of the campaign before suffering a hamstring injury in the home defeat to Newcastle United and did not make a further appearance for Spurs in the top flight.

The loan deal which saw the England Under-21 international to St Mary’s during the winter transfer window did not include a clause to give the Saints an obligation to buy with The Sun claiming that manager Ralph Hassenhutl considers the right-back to be his first choice.
