Report: PL club braced for Spurs approach for 25-year-old if Kane leaves

The Daily Mail have claimed that Wolves are readying themselves for an approach from Tottenham Hotspur for Adama Traore should the North Londoners sell Harry Kane.

With less than two weeks of the transfer window left, Kane continues to be linked with a move to Manchester City.

However, some sources are now suggesting that the Premier League champions may have to sell some of their players before they can meet Tottenham’s asking price for the England captain.

If Kane does leave, Spurs will certainly have their work cut out in finding suitable replacements before the window slams shut.

According to The Mail, the Lilywhites could look to snap up Traore if they do strike a deal with City for Kane.

The report reveals that the pacy winger, who has two years left to run on his contract at the Molineux Stadium, is greatly admired by Nuno Espirito Santo. It is asserted that Wolves value the 25-year-old at around £45m.

Spurs Web Opinion

Some Spurs fans on social media do not seem to rate Traore highly due to his poor output in the final third. However, I would love us to sign the Spaniard as I believe his attributes will make him an asset to any side.

Traore’s ability to drag the team up the pitch could be invaluable and his presence will also help our other attackers find more space. Besides, I also think that he will be a great option to bring on as an impact substitute.
