Report: Player Conte allegedly wants at Spurs is open to Juventus transfer

According to a report in Tuttosport, rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Dusan Vlahovic is open to a move to Juventus during the January transfer window.

Reports have continued linking Tottenham with a move for Vlahovic during the January transfer window after the North London club failed to get a deal for the Serbian over the line during the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia) even claimed recently that the Fiorentina directors met Fabio Paratici last week to discuss the 21-year-old’s transfer in January.

The rumour linking Spurs with the Viola star has now further picked pace, with SportMediaSet claiming that the centre-forward is one of the players Antonio Conte wants to be brought to Tottenham as part of his rebuild.

However, if Tuttosport’s latest update is to be believed, the Lilywhites could be set to face competition from Juve for Vlahovic.

The centre-forward, whose current deal at the Artemio Franchi Stadium runs out in 2023, is thought to be on the Old Lady’s radar.

It is said that Massimiliano Allegri’s side are looking to free up wages to snap up the Fiorentina man by moving on former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who is said to be interesting Newcastle United.

Spurs Web Opinion

I was initially sceptical about whether we would be prepared to spend big on Vlahovic in January since Kane looks set to stay at least until the end of the season.

However, that could very well change with Antonio Conte’s arrival as the Italian likes playing with two up front and would have likely been promised significant investment into the squad.
