Report: Player tells Daniel Levy that he has changed his mind over his future plans

Danny Rose is reported to have met with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Danny Rose earlier to inform him that he wishes to leave the club ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Rose had previously stated his intention of seeing out the remainder of his current contract which expires in the summer of 2021 before walking away as a free agent (Telegraph).

The 29-year-old was adamant that he would not be forced out of the club but Football Insider now claim that he has changed his mind and is set to end his thirteen year spell in North London.

The left-back was said to have been involved in a heated exchange of words with head coach Jose Mourinho the earlier this month at the club’s training ground with some senior Spurs players allegedly left unimpressed by the actions of the left-back (Mail).

Rose has not featured in any of Tottenham’s last four matches and had said to have been attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs including Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Waford.

The Telegraph report that Rose is to join Newcastle for the remainder of the season for a £2million loan agreement.
