Sky Deutschland have reported that Tottenham’s move to sign Borussia Mönchengladbach attacker, Marcus Thuram is not yet completed (via Sport Witness).

It was reported earlier this week by RMC that Tottenham see Thuram as a ‘priority’ signing this summer as they look to shake up their squad.

Journalist, Mohamed Bouhafsi claimed that sources close to Tottenham had informed him that talks had advanced over the past few days.

TransferMarkt currently rate the attacker at around £31.5m in the current market, with Borussia Mönchengladbach having purchased him from Guingamp for just £8.1m in 2019.

Thuram, who prefers to play left-wing but can operate anywhere across the front line, scored 11 goals and assisted another 12 across 40 games in all competitions last season.

Sky Deutschland reported that the deal is not yet in the bag and even claimed that the move was denied by Thuram’s entourage when they were contacted for comment. The report did not reveal whether Gladbach were open to selling this summer.
