Report: Plot twist as Tottenham’s 2024/25 home shirt may have just been leaked

Speculation is mounting as to what Tottenham Hotspur’s home kit will look like for the 2024/25 season, and it appeared the design was all but confirmed earlier this week. But now, a ‘new twist’ has emerged as a very different design has been doing the rounds on social media today.

The current campaign is nearing an end, and Tottenham fans are dreaming of a top-four finish and a return to Champions League football next season.

But, fans are also thinking about what their team will look like next term, with the latest Nike collaboration with the Lilywhites the subject of heated discussion this week.

Earlier this week, Footy Headlines released a mock-up of what the Spurs home kit for 2024/25 would look like. The strip looked very similar to this season’s all-white with navy trim design, but featured more of a hooped/ringed design on the sleeves.

Now, the more clean and simple design could be out, as a much bolder, and bluer, shirt appears to have been produced. Alasdair Gold has shared details of the rumoured jersey, which brings back ‘painful memories’ of the 2004/05 season.

The shirt is still largely white, but features blocked-out sleeves and panels down the side of the torso in a navy blue, matching the collar. The ringed sleeve cuff from the previous rumoured design still remains.

Many have commented that the shirt evokes memories of the shirt worn in the Martin Jol era, which would make sense given that the strip turns 20 years old this summer.

It remains to be seen whether this new leaked design, or the previous prediction, will be the one Spurs go with, or whether it will be something totally different.

I prefer this to the other predicted kit we saw earlier this week, as it’s something a little different and bolder. But, I’m still not entirely sold. It looks a bit clumsy, and doesn’t quite capture the classy design of the 2004 season.
