Report: Poch hasn’t spoken to Daniel Levy in days because he is out of the country

Tottenham Hotspur ended their pre-season campaign in defeat today as they lost to Inter Milan on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Pochettino took the opportunity to give his senior players a good run out at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, before handing some of the academy starlets a few minutes towards the end.

Spurs’ record signing, Tanguy Ndombele, started the match alongside Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko in a holding three.

However, it is unclear if and when Spurs will invest in any other new players this summer, and Pochettino has now revealed a rather strange fact.

Alasdair Gold from Football London claims that the Argentine says that he has not spoken to Daniel Levy in days as the chairman is currently in Miami.

With just four days left until the transfer window slams shut for incoming Premier League transfers, it may seem rather alarming that Levy isn’t even in contact with his manager.
