The Sun have reported that Mauricio Pochettino is considering an incredible Tottenham return this summer just 18 months after being sacked by the North London club.
The report claims that Daniel Levy is currently trying to persuade Pochettino to leave his post at PSG despite only being there for half a season.
The Argentine has won two trophies in his short tenure in Paris but lost out to Lille in the race for the title and was knocked out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage.
The Sun report that Pochettino is unhappy at PSG and would love another chance at Tottenham, which is why he is seriously considering a return.
It is also said that this could be Tottenham’s ‘ace card’ to keep Harry Kane at the club beyond this summer.
Levy has apparently admitted to friends that sacking Pochettino was the worst mistake of his career while the Argentine has told those close to him that he would be prepared to leave PSG for Spurs this summer.
