Football Insider have reported that former Spurs boss, Mauricio Pochettino remains in regular contact with club captain Hugo Lloris.
The report also adds that PSG are set to make a ‘blockbuster’ swoop for the French World Cup-winner in the near future.
Lloris’ current Tottenham contract only runs until 2022, meaning that he will enter the final year of his deal at the end of the current season.
Pochettino is said to be keen on reuniting with his former shot stopped in France and would love to sign him from Spurs in the summer transfer window.
This follows reports from the same publication last month that Lloris and Pochettino were close friends during their Tottenham days and enjoyed lunch together every day. It is said that Lloris has respect for Jose Mourinho, but far from the same close relationship with him.
Football Insider add that Spurs had opened talks with Lloris over a new contract, but nothing has been agreed as of yet.
Reports claimed that Tottenham rejected three PSG bids for Dele Alli in the January window, but it appears as if Pochettino may now have his eyes firmly set on Lloris.
