Report: Pochettino makes decision on FA ban appeal

Tottenham Hotspur take on Southampton this weekend in the Premier League, but they will be without manager Mauricio Pochettino in the dugout, as he serves the first of his two match touchline ban.

This comes after the Argentine manager had a bust up with referee Mike Dean after the Burnley game last month.

Pochettino stormed onto the pitch after Tottenham’s loss to confront the ref after some questionable decisions through the game.

The main talking point was the clear ghost corner that led to Burnley’s opener, and it’s fair to say that Pochettino wasn’t too please with Mr Dean.

Despite refraining from physical contact, Pochettino must now sit in the stands for the matches against Southampton and Liverpool.

The Telegraph have reported that Poch will not appeal the decision, implying that he did not want to risk further punishment that could involve him missing the first match in the new stadium.
