Report: Pochettino’s summer transfer budget revealed

Tottenham Hotspur have not added a single player to their squad in the last two transfer windows but despite that Mauricio Pochettino’s men have performed admirably competing against sides that have spent big.

The Tottenham manager has said multiple times that the club needs to change the way they operate in the transfer window if they wish to compete for major honors on a regular basis.

It looks like chairman Daniel Levy is finally ready to listen to the Argentine’s advice and loosen his purse strings this summer ahead of the club’s first full season at their new stadium.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Pochettino will have £150 million at his disposal in the summer to revamp his squad.

Tottenham are reported to be looking for upgrades in several key positions including center midfield and full back.

With Christian Eriksen’s and Tony Alderweireld’s future at the club looking uncertain due to their contract situations, Spurs might also be forced into seeking replacements for the pair.

It looks like after several seasons of the Tottenham squad being more or less being intact, there could be a major overhaul in the summer with Pochettino looking to continue his project and take the club to the next level to compete regularly for the Champions League and Premier League.
