Report: Postecoglou ‘definitely doesn’t want’ player to remain at Tottenham

Turkish outlet Karar have said that Tanguy Ndombele does not have a future at Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou, with the midfielder also looking unlikely to stay put at Galatasaray beyond the end of the season.

Ndombele’s loan spell at Galatasaray has been a disaster for the midfielder, who struggled to get regular minutes under his belt and has failed to impress when opportunities have come his way.

The same old question marks about the Frenchman’s fitness and application have also been raised during his spell in Turkey and at this point, it seems quite clear that the Istanbul club will not activate the clause to buy him permanently.

No future at Tottenham for Tanguy Ndombele

Karar now claim that although Ndombele looks set to return to his parent club at the end of the season, he does not have a future at N17.

The report says that Ange Postecoglou ‘definitely doesn’t want’ the 27-year-old in Tottenham’s squad for the next season, thus meaning that he would have to find a new home.

It is explained that even though Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is expected to leave Spurs, Postecoglou actually wants another replacement, which is Fenerbahce’s Ismail Yuksek, who is thought to be valued at €20m (£17m).

Spurs Web Opinion

Tottenham are unlikely to find anyone willing to pay a transfer fee for Ndombele in the summer. The club might not have much of a choice but to terminate the former Lyon man’s deal and allow him to leave on a free transfer.
