Report: Postecoglou will be given final say on two Spurs players this summer

Football London have reported that Ange Postecoglou will be given the final say over Clement Lenglet and Arnaut Danjuma this summer.

Both the French defender and Dutch forward were signed on loan by Spurs last season and are due to return to Barcelona and Villarreal respectively at the end of the month.

Postecoglou to have final say on Lenglet and Danjuma

However, Postecoglou will apparently be handed the final say over whether Tottenham sign either permanently ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Lenglet was a regular for Spurs throughout the season in a number of positions, but none of the Spurs defence set the world alight under Antonio Conte.

Danjuma, meanwhile, barely kicked a ball for Tottenham until the final weeks of the season, and was most often used in the final minutes of matches off the bench.

Postecoglou will have the final say on both loan players, and will also have to decide if he likes the look of any of the 11 players returning from loan.

Spurs Web Opinion:

To be honest, I would send both back to their parent clubs and let Postecoglou start fresh with his ideal signings, unless he loves the look of either. I suspect he might prefer some young and hungry signings that perfectly suit his 4-3-3 system.
